This week’s article, Why You Should Target Topics, Not Keywords, discusses how the way we search is changing with the influx of all the new devices. For example, Andy Crestodina of Orbit Media, suggests that “one important way that Google is changing for its users’ changing queries is that it’s becoming more semantic vs. keyword-oriented”, meaning that Google will be looking for related meanings, not just related keywords.
